"It is in the process of being worshipped that God communicates His presence to people." C.S. Lewis

Each Sunday we gather together in a time of community worship. During this time we seek to worship our creative, loving God and change our focus from all that is wrong with our lives, to all that is right with God and his kingdom. In order to do this, we follow a four-fold rhythm each week. Through song, prayer, poetry, readings and meditations we are inspired, challenged and transformed into more of who God designed us to be.

The first part of our time in community worship is the "Gathering," where we sing songs and invite God's presence to be among his people. In reality, God is always present with us, but during this first portion of the worship service we intentionally turn our attention to Gods presence and invite his presence to inhabit the praises of the people gathered.

Second we move into the time we refer to as "The Word." This is a time where we listen to someone teach on the ancient scriptures of our faith. We listen and reflect on what God's word has to say to our lives.

Third, we move into "The Table," or communion. This is a time where we remember Christ's sacrifice and life spent for us. The communion table is opened up to all people and we invite anyone who is a friend of God's to come and dine with him, to share a meal with him in communion.  During communion, people are invited to walk towards one of several stations around the room, and break off a piece of the bread and dip it into the juice, and then consume it in their own timing.  In addition to communion, there are other ritual and response options around hte room during this time such as lighting a candle as you pray for someone in your world, or writing a prayer in one of our community journals.

Lastly, we have a "Benediction," this is a blessing for the people.  We do not gather just for our own enjoyment.  God has restored us so that we will work for restoration.  During the benediction we remember that we are being sent out to be the hands and feet of Christ in a broken and hurting world.  We remember that we have been changed in order to bring change.  The benediction is a reminder and a blessing on all the people gathered to move out into their week and work to see our world reflect the redemption of God.

"As worship begins in holy expectancy, it ends in holy obedience. Holy obedience saves worship from becoming an opiate, an escape from the pressing needs of modern life."
-Richard Foster
