At Pathways Wash Park we love children and we would love to watch your children while you experience community and worship-knowing your children are safe and sound. We process background checks, train, and approve all volunteers who work with the children.

During both the 9:30 community hour and 10:45 worship service, our children’s classes are busy learning about God and his love for them through their play, stories, and age appropriate activities.  We offer childcare for ages 3 months through 4th grade in the following class setup:

Crawlers 3 to 24 months: Our classroom is filled with toys, infant swings, rocking chairs, and books to meet the needs of growing and exploring infants.  Bubbles and soothing music along with caring volunteers help transition the youngest children to a fun and safe environment.  We are prepared for diaper changes and bottle feedings as needed!

Trekkers and Hikers 2 to 5 years: This class explores Bible stories while learning foundational truths about living in Christ.  We provide a variety of fun, story related play centers such as dramatic play, play dough, blocks, and nature exploration.  Weekly—we encourage the children to share the bible story with you through various take home projects!

Upstreet K thru 4th grade: The elementary students focus on one virtue each month with stories, games, and crafts that bring the virtue to life and meet each child’s learning style.  In addition, our small group time includes practice learning the setup of the bible and skills on how to find and memorize Bible verses.  CUE Boxes provide curriculum related materials and guidance for families to talk about ways to grow in faith at home. Our Upstreet class attends the worship service each Sunday 10:45 to 11:00 a.m.
